The Facial Rejuvenation Module combines Acupressure,Thermotherapy, Facial Cupping and Lymphatic Drainage and proprietary topical skin foods. The combined results are outstanding.
Acupressure - Precise finger placement and pressure over specific points along the body. TCM theory describes special acupoints, or acupressure points, that lie along meridians, or channels, in your body. Vital energy flows through these channels as a life force called qi (ch'i). 12 major meridians connect specific organs or networks of organs, organizing a system of communication throughout your body. The meridians begin at your fingertips, connect to your brain, and then connect to an organ associated with a certain meridian.
Contrast Thermotherapy is the inducement of circulatory gymnastics with the use of Hot and Cold Stones to massage the face, neck and décolleté. This treatment firms the hypodermis, increasing blood flow and excretion of toxins.
Facial Cupping increases circulation, plumps lines, lightens scars, while toning the muscles and draining stagnation using the Belletazze Facial Cups.

There are 2 different Cupping Sets we use during this Workshop - the EarthSpa Bells® and Belletazze®. Also referred to as the Master Facial Cupping Set. Student Transfer Policy All students will be allowed 1 workshop transfer with no penalty as long as the workshop date is greater than 30 days away. If a student wishes to transfer to another workshop at less than 30 days to the workshop date, but greater than 2 weeks from the workshop date, there will be a $50 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed when the workshop date is less than 2 weeks away and the student will be subject to the refund policy (50% tuition forfeiture up until 7 days before the workshop, then 100% forfeiture). We understand emergencies can happen and waivers can be made on a case by case basis with documentation provided by the student to be reviewed by our Director of Education. Documentation required may include receipts, physician note, airfare receipts, etc. Transfer requests must be made in writing via Email to workshops@cuppingtherapy.org. Location Information: The ICTA has a strict privacy policy for our students. Only those regisrtered for our workshop is allowed to know the location of their training. NO ACCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Because our workshops are practitioner-exchange based and require a massage table and equipment / supply table for every 2 - 3 students, we need to contract for an appropriately sized space. Cramped rooms are not good for our training protocol. The instructor will decide the location of the training venue about 3 - 4 weeks in advance of the workshop and it is based on how many are on their roster. The Educator will email those on their rosters with the logistical details.   Locations are based on the Greater Metropolitan Region. In other words, as with all seminars provided by professional accredited education providers, although the location listed may be the most recognizable city, the actual location may not in the city proper - but somewhere in that citys' Metropolitan Region. This allows for more flexibility and keeps prices lower, often makes for easier logistical access and usually complimenetary parking and other nice benefits to the students attending and staying at the hotels. Additionally our instructors are usually coming in from out of town, so they are equally sensitive to placing the workshop in a location that is as convenient as possible.  Cancellations and Transfer requests must be made in writing via Email to workshops@cuppingtherapy.org.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR CUPPING
Cupping is contraindicated in cases of severe diseases, lesions, bulging discs, injection sites, organ failure, ascites due to hepato-cirrhosis and severe edema, as well as hemorrhagic diseases such as allergic pupura, hemophilia and leukemia, and clients with dermatosis, destruction of skin, or allergic dermatitis. Cupping should not be applied on the portion where hernia exists or has occurred in the past. For pregnant women, the lower abdomen, medial leg and sacral region should be avoided.

Professional Cupping Therapists practice pre-session assessments - not only at the time of initial intake but everytime they prepare to administer Cupping Therapy on their clients. Client needs can change from day to day - addressing those needs can also change.
